Zum Preis von 8,89 Euro ist die 643 MB umfassende Neuauflage als Download verfügbar. Die Version sei mit Windows 7,8 und 10 kompatibel. Über den neuen Launcher lässt sich eine von zwei Versionen des Spiels auswählen: Zum einen steht die Urfassung samt „SVGA-Grafik mit 20 FPS und mit der Spielerzuweisung über die klassische Version von Blizzards Onlineservice Battle.net“ zur Verfügung. Zum anderen lässt sich die „modernisierte Version des Spiels“ starten, die „standardmäßig mit Windows 10 kompatibel ist und bei der viele Fehler behoben wurden“.
